This, again, is the eleventh hour of the human race, and there is a deadly urgency about everything we do.
Our time is short. We may choose to curl up in a comfortable chair, to sing quiet elegies to the past as we dream pleasant dreams. We may indulge ourselves in nostalgia for an imagined past.
But, if we're going to save our world, we'd better wake up.
