Let me tell you a story. Just a sketch -- a suggestion of a story. Time is short.
It's a story about stories, reall.y, a story about the way our tales always circle and loop.
This isn't an avant-garde lit crit effect. Even our oldest stories work this way. We rarely begin at the beginning, and almost never end at the end. Our stories always wander through space and time.
But let me get back to the story. We'll have to keep it very simple, because time is short. Let's talk about this: Travelling through Europe is hard.
