Eastgate's Hypertext Reading Room collects Web writing contributed by some of the finest hypertext writers working today. The limitations of the Web are considerable -- especially the difficulty of adapting a Web hypertext to respond to each individual reader, something Storyspace writers (and many others) take for granted.

These writers have faced the obstacles, and have generously made their work available here in the Reading Room.

All works published in the Eastgate Reading Room are works of the imagination. Names, characters, places, and incidents are products of the author's imagination or are used fictitiously. Any resemblance to actual events, locales, entities, or persons, living or dead, is entirely coincidental.
