Ted, you recall, is also a dreamer. Jan, she thinks, is really something. It would be great to know him better. Maybe much better,
Ted's daydreams, however, ran up against some practical difficulties. Most notably, the airline had lost her baggage.
Naturally, she'd carried on the important things -- laptop, digital camera, MPEG recorder. She'd checked things that mattered less. Clothes.. Stuffed animals.. Contraceptives.
She couldn't remember whether this was one of the countries where you got them at a chemist, or a druggist, or maybe it was something entirely different.
Professor Weiss would know, of course, but he'd blush if she asked him.
