Thecore team is usually comprised of both formal and informal members.
While members change, this team presents
the most stability and institutional knowledge throughout the
process. As you write your action plan,
you define who you need for your core team.
Divide the labor effectively and
do reality checks to ensure you have
the right people and expertise. The
availability of resources for your core team depends on schedule
and other priorities in their work
group. Recognize that core team members often serve both the
team and a technical discipline-defined work group. Work group
supervisors need to be aware of the client's needs and assignments
for their personnel so they can allocate staff resources.
Assembling the core team early
on in the process will provide a base to do the work. |
